Hey Urban Fantastic Family

The attached article got me thinking. In a world filled with so many amazing things and the hyper speed at which technological change is taking place, it requires something special to attract people's attention.

We tend to want to look outside of ourselves for that special something that will make us standout. What I have found is whatever we're looking for is right there within us. There is no one like you. No one who can do what you do, think the way you do or view the world as you do.

Believe this to be true - because it is, and excavate the precious nuggets of value only you have. Rest assured whatever you produce to solve the myriad problems that need solutions in the world, if it truly is coming from your heart then it is one in a billion. That is your advantage. That's what makes you special.

For me, the magic in my writing is because of the unique experiences I've had in my life. I embrace who I am. It is liberating to realise that no one can do what I do, in the way I do it.

Think about that for a moment, then go out, forget the excuses and make magic.
