NOW is the best time to define your future. The only thing you need to know is where you stand today and where you want to be tomorrow. And just start making your way now!
You’re never going to be in the right place, and there’s never going to be a good time.
The truth is, someone will always be in a better place than us, or their timing will be better than ours. There is always a reason to put something off because you’ll never be in the right place at the right time.
Think deeply about this. Why is it that we wait to do the things we are passionate about? Why do we save an ounce of pleasure, joy, or energy for a future that is all but uncertain? Why not do the things we want to, now?
There’s no better place to be, or time to take the chance.
I find that it’s a difficult concept for many people to grasp because we believe we can control external forces or at least wait for more favourable circumstances. I’ve spoken about this before, but it’s worth repeating.
Ordinary people focus on the outcome.
Extraordinary people focus on the process.
Let’s not waste our energy on commiserating about how unfair life is. Let’s just take the reigns, respect the process by consistently working on our craft, art, life, or business. Fall in love with it because ultimately that’s all we can control and the rest will follow
You know what you want and that you deserve it. So let’s answer the call together and find the solutions we seek with action. I’m not saying it’s going to be easy. I’m not even thinking about it, I’m just acting, acting on what my heart is telling me to do. No more doing the things that won’t benefit me in the long run. From here on out, I’m making myself and my goals a priority, and I am doing it now.
