As you grew up, that easy-going, free-flowing, always present individual was forced to change. I tried to recapture that way of living as a teenager with varying degrees of success, but the consistency was missing. I think with age, I have more clarity on what is required and how important it is to your well-being.
I believe we were born for more.
I didn’t come to that conclusion lightly. I suffered from self-limiting beliefs growing up. Through my reading habit, I discovered that a great many men and women who have made their mark in the world suffered from low self-esteem and doubt too. It did not stop them. They just learned to manage the fear.
So why are we limiting ourselves? What’s preventing you from reaching your goals?
Sometimes it’s our attachment to a version of ourselves we believe is real. A part of us that is full of fear, doubt, guilt, and shame. And sometimes it’s our motivation that is misaligned with our true values, which makes attaining a goal challenging — and sometimes even impossible.
Whatever the reason you’ve got to choose what you want your life to look like. You are dipping your little toe in the water but never fully committing to a full dunk.
You’re talking the talk but not walking the walk.
No one can fulfil your destiny for you. But the most fucked up thing about all this is that if you’re not working on your own destiny, you are working on somebody else’s.

I, for one, want to discover what life has in store for me by thinking big and challenging the boundaries I’ve created for myself.

Nobody knows their exact limits.
Wake up, retrain your brain, let go of this weak personality and mold yourself into who you want to be.

What I do know is this is your life to live. Don’t compare yourself to others. Compare yourself to the only person who you can control - the person in the mirror. Take risks, embrace failure, grow from your mistakes, and just be obsessed with the beauty of being the best you can be.
