A Good Attitude is the difference between an ordeal and an adventure. — Bop Bitchin London has had some glorious weather and with some top-flight sporting events taking place around the world and in the capital itself seems everyone is enjoying the outdoors. I needed to get out and enjoy this, so I hit my local park with the family. It was brimming with couples, singles. families and kids with the same
idea as me. Every inch of grass is occupied, and I had to find a shady spot to chill. Once that was acquired and secured - if you snooze you loose, I started people watching, one of my favorite pastimes.
I Don't Have an Attitude Problem, You have a Problem with My Attitude
Firstly the kids. Their faces were gleaming with broad smiles and eyes filled with wonder. The enthusiasm for being here amongst nature was self-evident from the laughs and boisterous hollering. Everything seemed to be an adventure, and I’m guessing even if it was raining they’d make do and create a joyful noise nonetheless. Drop a challenge
in front of this lot, and they’d be attacking it from some uniquely creative ways. Kids have a great attitude if you allow them to. Now for the adults and you can guess what I saw. Except for some small group playing cricket or football the adult's faces were dour, uninterested and uninspiring. This was just another day with the sun injected into the equation. Same shit different day. What happened to them? Shit happened. School happened, family happened, and society happened. We’ve
been told ’No’ and can't’ so many times from childhood to adolescence we’ve stopped believing. Attitude and enthusiasm have been programmed out of us leaving shells of our former passionate selves.
That’s why we struggle because like Anthony Robbins says, 'Live your Life with Passion because if you don't, you're doing yourself a disservice. One that you could carry to your grave. Now that is scary. Thankfully all is not lost. The
first stage of change is knowing you have been selling yourself short. Try it for yourself. Prove that this works, and it's not just me and others spouting off about the life-changing benefits of an attitude adjustment. You will see it for yourself, but you got to do it. How do I start? Roll this statement around your palette for its bouquet and body. 'I can.' Feels good doesn't it. And then smile. Seems simple and most of life's treasures are, but this is just a seed. Plant it
by using it and follow through by experimenting with solutions to your problem. Personally, I was struggling with productivity. How could I write more than one book a year? I was conflicted. So I told myself, I can, smiled and diligently sought out a solution with confidence. Did I get it right the first time? Of course not but I kept trying and persisted in saying, I can and smiling inwardly. Eventually, I discovered a few things that worked for me. And that happened because I told
myself, I can, and I was willing to try and fail. But not in a bitter way but with positive expectation. A good attitude. See! What goes around comes around.
Hope this Helps
I don't need to introduce Anthony Robbins to anyone. Awaken the Giant Within introduced me to the vast possibilities I have access to. He's a big proponent on altering your state and attitude. It has to be read to appreciate its power and influence. So make Awaken the Giant Within your next power
read. Peace, love and Power & Kwa Heri, Kings and Queens
Omega Point an Urban Fantastic short will be available for purchase at the end of the month on Amazon.
P.S Would you be so kind to take 2 minutes to leave me a quick review on any of my books below that you have read? It would help immensely.
Thank
you.
