Think about it.
Pain in all of its forms is the best way for the human being to take action. Burn yourself and see how quickly you react to take it away from that stimulus. Physical pain is there for a evolutionary purpose, giving our nervous
system the parameters we need to survive and thrive. Showing us our limitations. In other words it keeps us alive. So were did we get this idea that we should avoid pain at all cost?
Society.
We've been told we should never be hurt. But unlike physical pain, psychological pain can be useful. The pain of rejection, the pain of loss, the pain of failure can be healthy and teach us how to be resilient. And that's why its dangerous to be in an
environment that regards healthy doses of pain in our life as undesirable.
Only through the solving of problems can we feel happiness. And with problems come some degrees of pain. Only through overcoming the problem and the associated pain will you be able to move on to a much better quality of problem. True happiness is enjoying the problem and enjoying finding the solution. Stop wishing you didn't have them.
Your job is to get better at finding
solutions.
