If You're a Winner in Life You have to constantly Go Beyond Your Best

I made a discovery this week that I had to share with you.
The human being is designed to succeed at everything it focuses on. You are a champion who has continued to win. Whatever you set your mind to comes into existence.
You are wired to win.
Anton, have you lost your mind?

You are winning at the life you have.

Let me say that again.
You are winning at the life you have.

I'm not going to tell you that you're a special snowflake either. In the real world, you are not special. No one owes you anything. Sometimes you actually lose. Complaining will not solve your problems. Nothing is free in this world, and people will dislike you, and still, you are programmed to win in the life you have.

What do I mean by winning in the Life You Have?

I truly believe that the human being was designed to overcome any challenge. If you subscribe to the theories of human evolution, you will know as a species, we've had to adapt and use our God-given ability to comprehend the relationship between cause and effect to strive.

The human being is a goal-seeking organism. Your brain is a goal-seeking organism. Whatever goals you create and give to your subconscious mind your brain will work every day in order to achieve them. The strength of your goals determines the effectiveness of them. And the goals you set yourself are based on the circumstances you find yourself in.
And here's the kicker.

Your circumstances are created by you, and you are winning in those situations.
Not earning enough, win
Relationships suck, win.
Losing weight going sideways, win.
Fitness levels low, win.

Anton man, I don't want to win at that. Maybe, but you're winning at it anyway.
This is how I look at it. Let's say I have a goal to write two books in a year - which I do have. There is stuff I need to be doing every day to make that objective a reality. One of them is to write, no matter where I am each and every day. But let's say I have weeks where I don't write anything. Months go by, and I only write when I'm inspired by my muse. I may speak of writing two books in a year, but subconsciously I'm saying I'll write a book whenever I damn well feel like it. Remember I'm a goal-seeking organism. So what do I do? I seek out the goal and chi-ching, win.

I'm wired to win even if I'm on a track that does not compliment me.

100% Responsibility is a hard pill to swallow, and I struggle with it every day but at the same time it has given me the most freedom because I can see where I'm going wrong.

In that example above I need to change my thinking, make a firm decision to move out of that track, set my game plan and let my goal seeking sense guide me to a win that I want. I know it's not easy, but the principle is a simple one.

So remember always, we are wired to win. Just make sure the track you are on will lead to what you want.

Try This

Let's think about the areas in your life where your wins leave a lot to be desired. Choose a goal and set out the steps you thinks will move you away from the track you have been running in. One of the simplest things you can do, is to try something new. Look at your failed strategy and implement new steps, new ideas, new thinking. Be consistent and watch how your actions drive you to switch tracks.
