Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much

Big Up Yourself Fam
How have you been doing? I hope this past
week brought you one step closer to your dreams.
As you can imagine I've been busily getting the word out for Joshua N'Gon Last Prince of Alkebulahn and as is the case with me, I start contemplating the not so obvious elements that go into being a successful writer and a successful person.
I've come to respect the power of family, the power of your team. In Jamaica we
use the term family not just to describe blood but the life long connections we form with other individuals who are just as important. They are a buffer surrounding you and a support system holding you up. Without this powerful step real success is doubtful. So why do some people think that they can do it alone? My theory is because it's difficult.
Forming a tribe of people you can work with or who share your passions is not easy. There is a lot of trail and error involved
because we are dealing with human relations and your ability to get on with others will differ from person to person. It took years for me to acquire the great talent I use to produce my books and help me with marketing. It's only by being in the trenches with these talents, that you can confidently see if your choices have been the correct ones for you.
