Having goals helps you to clarify your purpose and
simplify your life.
Being a bestselling author is one of my goals, and how I live my life revolves around that.
My days are filled with five major tasks:
Work, writing, exercising, side hustle, family and cooking.
And below are the 4 considerations I carry with me daily so I can achieve my five significant tasks.
Ā
Health
How can you lead an inspiring life if youāre lethargic or sick? When you invest in your foundational health, it will pay you back. Iām not saying having a healthy mindset and doing all you can for your well-being will exempt you entirely from illness, but itās the best we can do. Eat well, exercise and protect your mental health. Itās in your hands.
Ā
Uncluttering.
Iām getting good at this, and itās so refreshing when your desk is organised, your bed is made, your closet tidy, and your bookcase neat. I have more peace of mind when everything has its place, and thereās a place for everything. The most powerful benefit to clearing out the clutter in your life is the clarity of thought it affords
you. My productivity always goes up.
Ā
Savouring
Our minds have an extraordinary ability to remember sights, sounds, tastes, smells, and feelings. We can savour pleasurable experiences and lock away the positive memories so we can recall them later,
especially when we are struggling.
Small moments matter. Collect them. Cherish them. Honour them. And, most importantly, share them. Your tales are meant to be told. I consider myself blessed to be able to tell them to you.
Ā
Gratitude
Be grateful for what you have but never be satisfied. Choose to be thankful rather than complaining about every challenge you encounter and look for solutions, not ruminating over the problem.
Ā
I use these four ideas to remind me not to complicate my life. Keep it simple. Implement them regularly, and your life will be better because of it.
Ā
Keep it simple.
Keep it honest.
And keep it real.

Be your own
hero.
