Not everyone has that as a goal - I think everyone should; not everyone is willing to pay the price. Are you willing to be obsessed? The marketplace may not want what you have to offer just yet. Money is super important, but it’s not the only
metric or the most important value that makes you a superstar.
If like me you grew up outside of the West, you'd struggle with this idea. When you grow up with financial lack rearing its ugly head around every decision you make from school to home, nothing has value above money except for maybe formal education.
I had to work on repurposing what I grew up believing to a more empowering
belief that would serve me. I learned that being a Superstar is not just about the money but the person you will become in the process of becoming a Superstar.
The skills you have acquired, the network you will have developed, the philosophy you’ve constructed, the fitness you’ve nurtured, the spirit you’ve strengthened and the personality that blossomed from it all, make up that Superstardom.
It’s easy to get caught up in what others are doing and how successful they are, but It’s none of our business. What you should be concerned about is what improvements you have made in your own life. How have you become better? Because the name of the game is being the best, YOU can be.
The Superstar moniker is not a way to brag or boast. It’s not a way to say you’re better than anyone else. It’s a statement of fact and a
reminder to you of your potential.
Find your purpose and spend your time contributing to it, and you will be a Superstar, not just in name but in deed.
No one can guarantee the impact you’ll have on the broader world. You could discover a new breakthrough in Physics, build a company that contributes to humanity, help uplift your community, or inspire millions. But I can promise you this, the
more you work on your purpose, the more you will go to your bed having made a difference in the world and become smarter, more prosperous and more content with your life.
And that is the true mark of a Superstar.
Be your own hero.
