It’s been awhile but my monthly Newsletter is back.
I didn’t realise how much I’d miss our 4-weekly interaction. It's different to how we hook up on a weekly basis because here I talk more about how and why I create what I create. And for the passionate storyteller that I am that's important.
We're already six months into the year and I’m on the last stretch of the Bad II the Bone 3 novel. I enjoyed writing it. Returning to my three favourite ladies and their supernatural adventures is always a pleasure. I can’t wait to show it to you in it’s completed glory sometime soon.
Let me drop an Urban Fantastic service announcement real quick. You beautiful people have been supporting my weekly and monthly emails for years and I’m more than grateful. If you haven’t already, up the commitment level. Buy a book, review it and spread the love. My stories can only get better.
This year I'm trying something different. The Urban Fantastic Chit-Chat, will be my AI Virtual Assistant Hollie reading some of my many random thoughts. I hope you like it.
My adventures withDr Strangego way back. The art of Steve Ditko transported me to the world of the Sorcerer Supreme and the crazy alternate dimension he travelled to within the comic books. So imagine how thrilled I was when the character was immortalized in film and
now a second outing in the form ofDr Strange and the Multitude of Madness. If you haven't seen it yet, what are you waiting for, its a
ride.
Can I encourage you to browse and purchase the fantastic posters from our resident artistic genius Richard Davies. Check him out on Instagram - #turkswork. Give one of his quality posters pride of place on your wall. Order your poster HERE.

I have added one more non-fiction books to The Urban Fantastic Book Club, so go out and see the books that influenced my life and my writing.
As you know I have a passion for music especially Reggae and wanting the newsletter to represent the length and breadth of my interests, I've joined forces with Irie Mag. The digital magazine was created by one of the most innovative and hardworking comic
creators I know. Nicholas DaSilva has built a platform that celebrates his love for Reggea music and the island. What you may not know about Nicholas is that he is the creator of the critically acclaimed Dread or Alive graphic novels. Click on the Irie Mag image for access to a world of roots music.
This month's SFX Magazine May 2022 is featuring The Stranger Things Gang.
Lastly, I'm inviting you to contribute to a fantastic charity that I've been involved with for years now.Kivahelps more than 1.7 billion people around the world who are unbanked and can't access the financial services they need. Your contribution could help a small business somewhere in the third world feed a family and make a community thrive.
Give what you can!
Peace, Love and Power

The business of books would have you believe that writing what is trending in the marketplace is the way to go. Give the readers what they want. And that is one way to
garner commercial success if you have the talent.
Scott Adams wrote that Donald Trump is a “Clown Genius” and will become our next president. He’s better known for being the creator of the Dilbert cartoons. He also wrote one of the best books I’ve ever read. It’s
called “How to Fail at Almost Everything and Still Win Big.”
He shares some extremely counterintuitive advice on how to manage your time, plan your career, and achieve success and happiness.
I wanted to revisit my YA novel Joshua N'Gon:Last Prince of Alkebulahn and feature his cool toys and the elements that make up his world. This month we're looking at the Flag for the Democratic Republic of Rumundiland. Click on the above image and learn some more about this fascinating nation.
What books have made a profound impact in your life? I'm sure there are quite a few great books that we have in common but because all of our journeys are unique, there are others you have never come across. I want to take the opportunity to share the fiction and non-fiction, classic and contemporary tomes that have moulded my thinking and my life.
