Accept yourself for who you are. Faults and all. I'm not saying you shouldn't strive to be better. Just work more on your strengths than your weaknesses. Somewhere in that tangled mess is the true you. Embrace those qualities. Those are your most authentic desires. That is the real you.
Â
We just need to simply accept the fact that every person is unique and should not feel bound to conform to the patterns that others have set for you. No path to success ever looks the same for any two people. It’s okay to arrive in your own time, and at the destination you want.
Â
Be okay with who you are. Be more than okay — be in love with the things that make you who you are, even if they don’t make you popular or rich. They will make you real and alive and allow you to see that there is no one out there with the same lens and perspective through which to see the world, so why would you ever stifle who you really are? Sure, it can be a scary and vulnerable choice to put yourself out there, but it’s also a brave and genuinely human
choice. The vast majority of people are scared, so they choose to sit on the sidelines their whole lives, only to discover they missed out on the human experience. Society taught them that who they are is not good enough and that feeling inadequate about themselves is all you can do.
Â
Never think that.
In life, you are a niche.
In business, you are a niche.
If you’re a creator, you are a niche.
You just need to recognise it.
Shed that phoney persona and let the real you come through. You will only be here once; when else are you going to do it? Are you going to spend your whole life trying to live up to the expectations of the herd or be who you are?
Time to choose.
