If you are unconscious of the creative process, you relinquish your power to the mercy of existing. And we all know if you don't decide what you want, the randomness of life will beat you like the slave masters did Kunta.
That's why it's essential to get clear on what you want and take purposeful action to create those circumstances. Those amongst us considered successful have a clear vision of their life. You've got to have it because whatever state you're in now, you created that in combination with the universe

Every day I fight with the concept of being the captain of my destiny. It's not something we've been taught to understand, but it's so, so important.
We are purposeful beings who create reality according to their highest values and beliefs. Our life is an expansion of what we hold in mind and nurture daily. Every time I put pen to paper, I'm taking action towards the life I want to live. Every time I hit the gym, we're taking action towards a better body. Every time I feel uncomfortable and reach out to new contacts, I take action on expanding my network.
Once you decide what you want, begin to take purposeful action every day to get closer to your envisioned future. If roadblocks and setbacks appear, review why you are doing what you're doing, recommit and get back to creating your glorious destiny.
We're not alone. When you are purposeful about your life, the right circumstances and people show up to help you bring that plan to reality. But if you are not clear on your life's vision, anything that sparkles or glitters will distract you and send you off course.
If you tell me you have an idea, the first question I would ask you would be, "What did you do about it?"
